What to do with those left over Paints and Hazardous Waste material

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

Snohomish County has a special facility where County residents can drop off unwanted hazardous materials which should not go in the garbage. Accepted materials include unwanted paint, thinner, solvents, cleaning products, pesticides, motor oil, fluorescent tubes, and other household chemicals. This facility, open Wednesday through Saturday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, features convenient, free, drive-through service.

Call the County at 425-388-3425, press “0,” for a list of all accepted materials.
